The Tale of Two Races
Two playable factions, the Asmodians and the Elyos, inhabit the two halves of the shattered world of Atreia, battling one another for ultimate control over Atreia. The Asmodians are a brave, hardy, strong-willed people that are generous and fiercely loyal to their own, but fight ferociously against outsiders. The Elyos are a beautiful and radiant people, but have become arrogant, seeing their beautiful forms and their lands as an entitlement.

Create Your Daeva
Your adventure begins with you choosing a side - will you join the fight with the Elyos or pledge your allegiance to the Asmodians? Next, choose a class - your choice will define the fundamental abilities and role of your character in Aion, especially in a combat situation. You select one class from four to begin: Warrior, Scout, Mage, or Priest. At level 10, your character must select a subclass. Nearly every class offers two subclasses.

Ascend into Battle
Soar on your own wings! Flight adds a new aspect to combat, quests, exploration, and harvesting. Windstreams in high-level zones allow you to travel faster with unlimited flight time. Fight spectacular one-on-one and group battles, and engage enemies in both PvE and PvP combat. Use combos, skill chains, counterattacks, and stunning aerial tactics to defeat your foes.

A World of Adventure
A unique fantasy adventure awaits as you travel through various regions to complete thousands of quests. Prepare to discover new friends with common goals and form a legion, become a master crafter to create your own powerful gear, collect pets that can provide a helping hand and make a style statement by customizing your character through a broad selection of gear from drops, crafting, and item customization.
