Well... no.

A lot of times, numbers can be misleading and it's precisely statistical adjustment which helps you figure out what they actually mean.

For example, an interest rate of 5% might see high but if the inflation rate is 7%, then after adjusting for inflation, you'll realize the deal you were initially excited about was actually very bad.
