What a resort on 39 acres with 705 rooms! I call it “Old-fashioned class with Native American flare”. There is a nice blend of original and updated architecture and decor. Plenty of pools to offer with 24/7 access. Impressive fitness center. Don’t forget to call for a golf cart to pick you up if you don’t feel like walking. The main comments I heard during my stay dealt with room temperatures and the price of food/beverage. To be fair, the high temperature while we were in Pheonix was between 112-116 degrees. If I was an AC unit, I’d be struggling too! But all in all, many AC units in rooms struggled to keep the room temp to match the temp set on the thermostat. The resort would quickly send maintenance to rooms to check and make sure units were working properly. In regards to food/beverage pricing, I mean, it’s a resort in the US…..and a nice one at that. So yeah, be prepared to spend some coin on food and drinks.

Advice I’d give:
-Digital key on my phone worked great for the room, but found I was unable to use the digital key to access the fitness center and pool gates.
-Bring a multi-outlet or extension cord if you have a lot of devices to plug in next to the bed.
-Our room had a large umbrella in the closet, and is a nice option for hot sunny days.
-Certain fruit trees on the property are ornamental, so I’d suggest asking which ones would be good to pick fruit on and which ones aren’t. I picked some fresh limes and added to drinks, and they were delish. We were told picking the fruit was okay to do.
-Solitaire on the treadmill screen was difficult, I dare you to try to win!
-We were told no outside food or beverage at the pools, yet we saw people bring in food and beverage with no one getting in trouble.
-If you have ANY questions or problems, the staff was very attentive and accommodating. We had one issue that resulted in changing to a different room, and the Biltmore followed it up with a bottle of champagne on ice and a small box of cashews and chocolates.
-If at any point during your stay you need water, it’s easy to either get bottled water from the front desk, or there are multiple water stations in various locations with ice-water to help yourself to. Definitely bring a refillable bottle.
-During the heat of the day, the ground will be quite hot on bare feet around pools and on sidewalks.
-Research resort events prior to arriving.
-If you are a Hilton Honors Member, don’t forget to use your number upon check-in.
