Weather, cloudy, mild, slight winds, early drizzle cleared for a dry afternoon.
Streams all low made this a little easier for the riders. In fact the Bridge End stream was totally dry.
This is a hard, tough, gruelling trial, run by the Richmond Motor Club - A one-day reliability trial for solo motor cycles.
Approx 80 miles, 80 judging sections.
One rider told me that the moors between the sections were tougher than the sections!
That's nominally 6 hours, without a seat! And no stops allowed.
Cut-off times apply if you are too slow.
Filmed at Surrender, By Pass, Bridge End, Reels Head and Underbanks.
There was a back wheel trap near the top of the Surrender section which caught a lot of riders out.
190 riders competing with the (high numbers) top riders setting off at 10am. New entrants and mere-mortals set off an hour earlier from 9am.
The Scott Trial has been running for 107 years and only been cancelled four times - for WW1, WW2 Foot and Mouth and Covid.
There was a mistake on the Programme race map which confused a lot of spectators. All the spectating point ref numbers were wrong! All will be sorted for next year!
A massive thanks to the army of volunteers and sponsors and landowners that make this fantastic event happen every year. Trials riding wouldn't be the same without the Scott.
Big congratulations to winner Jack Price for winning a tough, tough race. Well done.
And to best lady, Emma Bristow, a commendable 21st place from 180. Impressive.

Richmond Motor Club. National Scott Trial, Feldom Moor, Saturday.
The Scott Trial on Saturday was sensational as ever it has been in its 107-year-history of cross country events.
The one-lap event, reputed to be bordering 70 miles, attracted top British riders, including former world champion, and winner, Dougie Lampkin, as well as five other previous Scott Trial title-holders.
Saturday's entry list featured competitors from all parts of the British Isles, while French ace Benoit Dagnicourt travelled over from Nemours, south of Paris, to sample the Yorkshire countryside.
Benoit’s total score including time faults was 124. Not bad at all, but Guy Kendrew sped round in just five hours, 17 minutes and 56 seconds thereby penalising the rest of the field.
Only winner Jack Price and Minehead’s Billy Green managed to keep time faults down to six. Even former winner James Dabill and Richard Sadler incurred damaging time penalties.
Skeeby’s Jonathan Richardson was favourite to post the fastest time but ran out of fuel, and the time lost swept away his chances, and with observation losses dropped him to 13th place.
Former winner Lampkin took a heavy fall that delayed him, but the 40-year Vertigo importer still rode to fifth best on observation score.
As for winner Jack Price, the result was stunning. The Huddersfield Vertigo rider won the British Championship then more or less dropped out of trialling for quite a long time, but he came back at the weekend in style.
