Management of penile burning with frequent urge of passing urine - Dr. Ravish I R

Burning penile sensation and increased frequency of urination means there is a urinary tract infection or there is around inside the urethra or in the meatus which causes increase in the frequency or the urge. Urge means immediately to pass urine as soon as the bladder gets filled. An increased frequency comes when there is an irritable bladder or a small trauma or an ulcer there which causes irritability. Increased frequency might also be a small stone in the VUJ junction, or infection in the trigone or in the bladder or in the urethra. So you have to evaluate these patients to know where the lower urinary tract infections are there to evaluate what the symptoms are and to treat the infections. IT might be due to the self-estimation also which might lead to some amount of trauma in the urethra leading to increased frequency and burning urination.
