PS Waverley Cruise, Around the Isle of Wight September 2022

A trip on the PS Waverley, was due to travel on the 3rd September but a steam valve issue with the rudder mechanism meant it didn't sail from Yarmouth.

So, seeing it on the 10th September and the 13th at St Catherines point, managed to get some additional shots used in this footage, unfortunately going clockwise... when on the 17th going anti clockwise.

The 17th was dry, and not too bad, the wind really hit coming round Ventnor/Shanklin and eased off again as we rounded Bembridge into the Solent, so excuse the wind noise.

There were some horn wars between Waverley and a Wightlink ferry at Yarmouth missing the first part where the ferry sounded first and set the car alarm, hence the amusement.

Turning in the solent just off Victoria fort, with the Hurst Spit / Castle in the background.
