The wash plant consists of a 4 cubic yard hopper and plumbed 4X8-foot screen deck. The top screen on the deck is 1-inch mesh and the lower 0.5-inch mesh. The deck can handle up to 80 cubic yards per hour and the slurry can be processed in one or two 4-foot wide sluice boxes. Each 4-foot sluice requires somewhere between 650 to 750 gallons of water per minute to run efficiently.
