Fate Of 18 Rebel AIADMK MLA's To Be Decided

Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker P Dhanapal disqualified 18 rebel AIADMK MLAs loyal to VK Sasikala’s nephew TTV Dhinakaran, giving the ruling party an edge in case of a floor test. The ruling combine, led by chief minister EK Palaniswami and deputy CM O Panneerselvam, appears to have shored up the requisite majority of 108 votes to sustain the government, with the House strength reduced to 215 from 233 members (including the Speaker).
