This is our Internship Project that we worked on at the Embedded Systems Lab of PCSIR Laboratories Complex, Karachi, during a 2 week internship period.

My Part in this project was the Design of the LCD User Interface which is shown in this video.

The Project Task is a Temperature Control Program for the 3 Ovens of a Gas Chromatograph. The Task included interfacing of Thermocouples, designing of the electronics and implementing a proper User Interface using a Keypad and an LCD.

The User Interface allows setting of all parameters related to the Temperature Control, which includes setting Set-Point Temperatures of Injector and Detector Chamber and also setting the Column Chamber Setpoints and Timing Intervals. All configuration is saved in the AVR's internal EEPROM.
