First race of the new 2024 season for Southern Roots and first race for me on the kawi 250x. I got off to a great start getting the holeshot in my class then managed to blow it by turn 2 haha. First lap was a little slick and I rode horribly. I was too lazy before the race and didn't put a new rear tire on and I regretted that immediately once the race started. I made a few mistakes early on but managed to find a groove and finish 2nd in my class (30B) and 25th overall. Looking forward to the next one!
