Ozzy's Truck Story (Full Length)

Operation Positive Vibes, in collaboration with country music artist Jared Ashley and NASCAR icon Richard Petty along with his renowned high-performance speed shop, Petty’s Garage, are in the process of restoring a red 1983 Chevrolet Scottsdale pickup truck previously owned by U.S. Navy sailor Jeffery “Ozzy” Otzwirk, who tragically passed away by suicide in 1999. Having served alongside Ozzy, Ashley has united efforts with Operation Positive Vibes and Petty’s Garage in the aspiration that the restoration of the truck will not only shed light on mental health challenges faced by active-duty service members and veterans but also provide solace and resolution to their bereaved families.
