Secret trial soon underway in Russia for WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich

A secret trial will begin tomorrow in Russia for American Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich. He faces espionage charges and potentially 20 years in a Russian prison. The Wall Street Journal and the US government deny the charges against Gershkovich, considering him wrongfully detained.

In a letter in today's Wall Street Journal, the newspaper's editor said: "The bogus accusation of espionage will inevitably lead to a bogus conviction for an innocent man." Scripps News Global Affairs Correspondent Maya Rodriguez has more on the story.
