Our visit to Universal Studios Hollywood was a whirlwind of thrills, excitement, and a sprinkle of nostalgia. Our main aim was to dive into the newly unveiled Super Nintendo World, teeming with vibrant colors and our beloved video game characters. Despite the anticipated crowds, stepping into Super Nintendo World felt like entering a pixelated paradise, complete with interactive elements that brought our favorite games to life.

But our adventure didn't end there. Universal Studios Hollywood boasts immersive themed worlds, from the enchanting Hogwarts of Harry Potter to the heart-pounding adventures of The Mummy and Transformers. The Simpsons' Springfield and the mischievous Minions also left their mark, while The Secret Life of Pets ride became an instant favorite for our little one, ridden multiple times with sheer delight.

No trip to Universal Studios Hollywood would be complete without experiencing the legendary WaterWorld show, where jaw-dropping stunts enthralled our kids. The Studio Tour offered a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes, adding another layer of magic to our visit.

To beat the queues, we splurged on Express passes and early access, gaining entry to the park an hour before the crowds. This allowed us to maximize our adventure without the hassle of long wait times. While some height restrictions limited our youngest family member's adventures, Universal Studios had catered well to younger guests with engaging playgrounds, kid-friendly rides, and interactive experiences.

As the day drew to a close, bidding farewell to Universal Studios Hollywood was bittersweet. The memories we created—from exhilarating rides to enchanting shows—filled us with laughter, excitement, and a sense of wonder. Helpful Tips:

Try to visit on a weekday during the off-season. (We went in the winter on a weekday and it was still crowded.)
Get early access and head straight to the new Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge ride to avoid long lines later in the day.
Consider getting Express Pass Unlimited if not everyone in your group will ride every ride, allowing you to take turns with the little ones without wasting time in lines.
Make the most of each "world" before moving on to the next section to avoid backtracking and wasting time. We found ourselves riding the same attractions too many times, which ate into our day.
Bring water and snacks to keep the kids energized throughout the day.
