Jeep Overland Adventure - Toxic Waste Dump | Military Relics | Arrowheads - Secrets of the Desert!!!

Join me for another Jeep Overland Car Camping Adventure as I journey deep into the desert and uncover the secret history that lies in the sand dunes. In this trip we find military relics and arrowheads in those sand dunes and across the playas. We find a couple homestead sites, and the crown jewel of the trip is exploring an old strange toxic wast dump. The military artifacts we find are evidence of the many military training and testing exercises conducted out across the vast expanses of empty desert. The strange chemical disposal or toxic waste dump site was tied to the development of military chemical weapons for the Viet Nam war effort. Besides finding evidence of all the layers of fascinating history out in this bleak area of the desert we also get in some camp cooking, awesome trails, and see some of Oregon that not many people ever see.
