‘Chicago Fire’ addressed Taylor Kinney’s absence from the show during Wednesday night’s episode titled, ‘Damage Control.’ Taylor’s character, Lieutenant Kelly Severide, did not make an appearance, but it was revealed that he left to attend an arson investigation program in Alabama. Back in January, a source close to production confirmed to ET that the longtime star was taking a leave of absence to deal with a personal matter.
