Forgotten Star Sapphire Fears Men - Mistress Of The Seventh Dimension

Star Sapphire is known by most as a villain or ally to Green Lantern. Recognised most often as Carol Ferris (though there are others) the lore has expanded to include an entire Lantern Ring Corps, and has gone through many ups and downs. However, before any of that there was another Star Sapphire out there. Yes, the Star Sapphire who debuted in the Silver Age in Green Lantern 16 had been inspired by a villain of the same name from the Golden Age. That version had been a foe of The Flash (Jay Garrick) and was mistress of the Seventh Dimension. Despite only appearing twice DC Comics would end up using the character again in a bit of a surprising way years later at the start of the new millennium.
