On this week's episode(?) of Pyro Files, we have a 12-shot, 1-inch bore 500g. Victim was last seen filling the air with brocade crowns and silver chrysanthemums. A two-shot finale of both alternating effects was observed as well. Top suspects are Brothers and Happy Family, but ultimately the suspect is at-large and yet-unidentifiable.

The pyro community has an incredible array of knowledge and experience across all different brands, categories, production years, etc. My hope is somebody will be able to watch any of the Pyro Files and tell me what product I recorded. It's definitely a stretch. However this makes use of footage I have absolutely no use for otherwise. Plus, I got a good laugh out of making the intro/art and thought it would be an entertaining demo format.

Context for The Pyro Files: I filmed most of a neighbor's firework show in 2023. I got a look at their stash beforehand (surprisingly good overall), but they didn't give product names as they were lighting them. If I failed to see the label before lighting, I had no idea what I was recording. Even then, they lit multiple items at once on occasion or mixed up the firing order of what they took to shoot. Because of this, around 50 clips of footage have sat on my drive completely useless. I wanted to find a way of using these. Some of them are pretty awesome, some are terrible. A friend was talking about X-Files one night and it got me thinking... the show is about the uncertain, the unseen, and finding the truth. I thought this was the perfect means to get these videos out there while flexing some creativity! If no one can pinpoint the product, it's still firework entertainment for the channel and I get to free up space on my PC. I like that.
