British Couple's FIRST IMPRESSIONS of MUMBAI 🇮🇳

Join British couple, Jack and Paige on their mission to explore Southern India starting in Mumbai.

Our first day in India starts as all trips should, with a trip to the local snack centre to try some local food. On the hunt for Pav Bhaji, stumble across Ramnath Snacks, who don't have what we are after but we try our first ever Puri Bhaji while chatting with locals about life in Mumbai. We wash breakfast down with our first Chai of the trip before hitting the streets of Colaba. We bargain for sunglasses and head towards the Gateway of India, where we encounter more street sellers. Inside the Gateway of India we are met with exceptional kindness from a local man who gifts us a magnet to remember our trip by. We walk along the bay and take in the sights of the famous Taj Mahal Hotel and meet with the local drum seller again. After a hard bargain, we give in and purchase a drum before asking for his recommendation to find more Pav Bhaji. He takes us to a hole in the wall and try a new dish, that we think was Chole bhature. After our day exploring we finish the day chatting about why we love the people of India.
