Story of Recovery: Declan Graham's Spinal Cord Injury | Brooks Rehabilitation

Declan had just left work from Disney’s Animal Kingdom. While leaving the parking lot, he was cut off. He went off the road and hit a guardrail at 40 miles an hour. His chest hit the guardrail first, and his body was bent in half over the guardrail.

Declan sustained a spinal cord injury. When he first got to the hospital, his doctor barged into the ER as they were running tests.

"Everyone stop what you're doing. He has a lot of pressure on his spine."
