Defect SDK is not just a Spaceship Destruction Kit - gameplay in this game consists of building ships and putting them to action in a story where you'll go on missions, get caught in the crossfire of epic battles and take revenge on the crew who stole your ship in the previous mission!

The Defect SDK Spaceship Destruction Kit building system involves assembling components such as engine parts, crew modules, wings and power supplies. The more modules you use, the more power and crew you'll need, plus the ship becomes harder to handle during the main game.

There's plenty of space combat too in Defect SDK, using tactics to game your spacebound enemies, controlling turrets or other ship modules, dodging bullets and scavenging for spare parts to repair your ship.

Defect SDK has been Greenlit and is on Kickstarter until 21 July. A public alpha for Kickstarter backers of the Defect SDK game will happen later in the year.
