The Great Rann of Kutch(Kachchh) also known as White Desert Of India, is a large area of salt marshes in the Thar Desert of Indian state of Gujarat and is believed to be the Largest Salt Desert in the World. Though, most of the white desert lies in India, there is a part of it, that lies in the neighboring country of Pakistan too. On the formation of this magical and beautiful white landscape of salt , it is said that this piece of land was used to be part of Arabian Sea earlier, but due to drying up of water, only thing left was a vast area of white salt which is now known as Rann of Kutch.
In this video, I visit The Great White Rann of Kutch and experience the beauty of the place where salt meets sky, with my naked eyes. After visiting, I can surely say that this is one of the top places to visit in Gujarat, even though, I visited in off season(June). The best season to visit the place is between the months of October to February, when the weather is pleasant and also, a festival called Rann Utsav is celebrated. I had a great experience in Off season as the place was not at all crowded.
In the end, I will say this is a must visit tourist attraction in Gujarat.
