CON CORNETO – son of the stallion Contendro I – an outstanding sire whose offspring are distinguished by exceptional jumping ability and versatility. Contendro I, winner of the stallion performance test, has produced 71 licensed sons and over 751 broodmares, 131 of which have received state premium status. The offspring of this stallion have won prizes exceeding 7.4 million euros, and more than 2050 of his progeny compete in competitions. In show jumping alone at class S -135 cm and above, 331 horses have competed, many of which continue to participate in competitions. In 2013, Contendro I became the youngest stallion to be ranked among the top ten show jumping sires in the world. Importantly for breeders, he transmits not only jumping ability but also dressage talent, improving movement, especially in the trot and canter. The dam's sire of Con Corneto, Cornet Obolensky, ranks eighth in the WBFSH world ranking of the best show jumping sires. Cornet Obolensky is the sire of many show jumping stars, including European Champion Clooney (Martin Fuchs/SUI), European Team Vice-Champion Comme Il Faut (Marcus Ehning), and CHIO Aachen runner-up Balou Du Reventon (Brian Moggre/USA). Already at the age of eight, Cornet Obolensky was winning trophies under Marco Kutscher, including in Grand Prix and Nations Cups, as well as the Super League final. In 2008, he won bronze at the German Championships and triumphed in the Grand Prix of Balve and Cervia/ITA, as well as the Nations Cup in Rotterdam/NED, leading to his selection for the German Olympic team. In 2011, he was part of the gold-medal-winning team at the European Championships in Madrid/ESP. Con Corneto has qualified for the Polish Championships 2024 and, from October 3, 2024, has started the 50-day stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. The stallion impresses with extraordinary strength, dynamism, and technique in jumping, as well as outstanding dressage movement in all gaits. In his first breeding season, Con Corneto produced outstanding foals. At the 2024 Prohipo Championship, out of four presented foals, two received Oldenburg Premiums. The foal Concalido was sold at the Westphalian auction to Ireland, while the others were placed in different European countries. Con Corneto transmits both excellent movement and an outstanding exterior to his offspring. Achievements of Con Corneto: Qualified for the Polish Dressage Championships 2024. Successfully completed the test in Adelheidsdorf in 2024 and was recognized.
