Have you ever wondered how the seafood you eat got caught, especially in China? This time, I went with a group of fishermen into the South China Sea for four days. For them, these were simply ordinary days in their decades of fishing. But for me, it was an adventure filled with both surprises and pain.

Actually, it was not my first time being on a fishing ship and traveling to the South China Sea. In 2019, when I was still a high school student, I stayed on the ship for seven days and made my life’s first documentary with my uncle, the ship’s captain. That was also how I got the chance to be on the ship this time.

This is not a tourism video. It’s a look into the real fishing life behind the seafood we eat.
