OSCAR is approximately 8 years old. He's a corgi mix and available for adoption through Vintage Pet Rescue. He went into the Waterbury, CT Pound in October 2021 and remained there until January 2022 when he was rescued.

OSCAR recently had both of his eyes removed so he is completely blind. Due to this he is a bit wary when meeting new people. He will need a very patient home that will give OSCAR as much time as he needs to settle in, learn the lay of the land, and build trust with his new person.

OSCAR absolutely LOVES car rides and being outdoors walking and rolling in the grass and laying in the sun. He would love a fenced in yard, but obviously he cannot ever be left outside by himself because he's blind and can't see danger approaching. He's learning to enjoy short leash walks.

OSCAR currently lives in a home with 2 other small dogs who he gets along just fine with, but it is not necessary for for him to live with another dog. We do not know if OSCAR is good with cats. No small children please.

OSCAR is neutered, vaccinated, and negative for heartworm and tick born illnesses. He had a dental at the same time he had his eyes removed. He is being fostered in Waterbury, CT. To apply to adopt OSCAR please go to vintagepetrescue.org to submit an online application to adopt a dog.
