Chinese FM Wang Yi arrives in India for talks

(8 Jun 2014) China's foreign minister met his Indian counterpart in New Delhi on Sunday as he arrived for a two day visit to boost diplomatic ties with India's new government.
Wang Yi and Sushma Swaraj shook hands briefly for the media after Wang arrived on his first visit to India since Narendra Modi was appointed prime minister last month.
Wang is expected to hold talks with both Modi and Swaraj during his visit, according to Indian media.
He is also expected to meet President Pranab Mukherjee and other Indian officials before he departs the country.
