Wales has frozen its way through the coldest November since records began - with more snow and ice threatened this evening.

Llysdinam near Newbridge on Wye in Powys was the coldest at -12.9c and 95 miles away, in Capel Curig, it was -11 degrees celsius.

In Trawsgoed it was -9 and it was only slightly warmer in Hawarden, which saw temperatures of -8 degrees.

So how are communities surviving? Our correspondent Carl Edwards went to Newbridge on Wye to find out.
