I MET TWO OF MY IDOLS IN A MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY IN THE PHILIPPINES...

Have you ever heard of "Soil Painting", well the Talaandig Tribe in Bukidnon, Mindanao are master at it! And one woman, Salima Saway is simply amazing!! Her artwork tells stories of her life, connection to earth, and Talaandig community and culture. It is beyond overwhelming talking to her and looking at all her amazing paintings!

I learn so much about life hanging out with their community on the foothills of mountains in Bukidnon Mindanao. And I have to say... "Bae" is another one of my Filipina idols!! So amazing her energy, strength, and enthusiasm!
