Snow moved into central Iowa Thursday afternoon and will continue into the early evening.

Most areas will likely pick up another 2-3" of snow before it ends. As the snow winds down, the winds will pick up!

Northwesterly winds will increase to 15-25 mph with some gusts up around 30 mph or so. This should be strong enough to cause this latest fluffy snowfall to blow and drift- especially in rural and open areas.
