Tutorial: "My Yellow Ginger Lei" in Drop C - Tutorial

Inspired by the late Leonard Kwan's taropatch open G medley of "My Yellow Ginger Lei" and "E Huli Huli Ho`i Mai" I've developed an arrangement of these two songs in drop C tuning. This video is a slow tempo tutorial version of that arrangement.

The tuning for this song is drop C, also known as Leonard's C or C wahine: C G D G B D from low pitch to high.

The guitar is a Martin OM-18GE.

The video was captured with two Panasonic Lumix GH4 cameras. Audio was recorded using a pair of Schoeps CMBI-MK4 mics in ORTF configuration and feeding one of the GH4 mic inputs. Editing in Edius 8.5.
