As the son of an Alaskan Fisherman, Garrett Duffy is a free spirit who is equally at home in the mountains or the sea. This singer/songwriter has a smooth vocal style that elicits currents of soul through his creations. Also known for his powerful harmonica performances with independent band Barefoot Truth, he works to be focused and immersed in the vitality of the present while drawing inspiration for his melodies from his unique past. He explores his deep affinity for the ocean through surfing and turning to his yoga practice for a measure of balance and clarity.

Garrett's debut solo album called Drift East was released on 11/8/12. Drift East reached #9 on the iTunes singer songwriter chart ahead of legendary musicians such as Bob Dylan, James Taylor, and Neil Young.
