The Super Famicom was released on November 21st, 1990 in Japan and went on to sell nearly 50 million consoles worldwide. The console has some differences from the Super Nintendo, mainly in game compatibility, design and in the colours used on the controller. I have been missing this console variation from my collection for years as I was waiting patiently for a good deal and finally found one.
