What can we learn in the life of David (A man after God's own heart) in Psalms 42:1-11.
Why there are misery:
1. Being away from the place of God - v.1-2.
2. The constant crying - v.3
3. He experience mocking - v.3/10
4. The trials he experience mocking - v.3/v.10
5. He felt that God is not acting on - v.9

How he overcomes his Sorrow(depression).
1. By having honest assessment on himself - v.5
We need to cast down the old nature. We need to command our soul.
2. He starts talking/praying to God - v.6.
He start remembering the goodness of God.
3. He remind himself of God's love - v.7-8.
Rom. 8:38-39 = fully persuaded that God loves us. Do not allow lies from the devil.
4. He prays and worship God in the midst of trouble - v.5/8.
5. By moving forward (by putting hope in God - v.5/v.11)
Phil 3:13 = focus on what lies ahead, stop looking in the past.
