Steps and Algorithms:

Step 1: Solve the “White Star” – This step is 100% Intuitive

Step 2: Solve the White Corner Pieces: [ R , U , R’ , U’ ] until it’s in place

Step 3: Align the second layer edges

Algorithm Insert Edge to the Right: U, R, U’, R’, U’, L’, U, L
Algorithm Insert Edge to the Left: U’, L’, U, L, U, R, U’, R’

Step 4: Insert the second layer corners: [ R , U , R’ , U’ ] until it’s in place

Step 5: Solving the “Rabbit Ears” – Edge, Corner Edge between the 2nd and 3rd layer

Algorithm Insert Edge to the Right: U, R, U’, R’, U’, L’, U, L
Algorithm Insert Edge to the Left: U’, L’, U, L, U, R, U’, R’

Insert the third layer corners: [ R , U , R’ , U’ ] until it’s in place

Step 6: Solving the last layer: Orient all the edges (4 different cases)

1. One edge of the last layer star: (The edge facing the bottom right): F, R, U, R’, U’, F’
2. Three edges of the last layer star: (The 3 edges all in the upper left): F, R, U, R’, U’, R, U, R’, U’, F’
3. Three edges in an arrow shape of the last layer star: (arrow is pointing to the right): F, R, U, R’, U’, F’
4. All five edges of the last layer star: No Algorithm needed.

Step 7: Solving the last layer: Permuting all the edges (3 different cases)

1. Two Edges: (Solved edge in the front and to the upper right): R, U2, R’, U, R, U2, R’
2. Two Edges: (Solved edge in the front and to the lower left): R, U, R’, U, R, U2’, R’
3. One Edge is Permuted: (Permuted edge in the front): R, U2, R’, U, R, U2, R’ ((than solve the 2-edge case))

Step 8: Solving the last layer: Permuting all the Corners (3 different cases)

1: Two corners are in the correct spot: (Holding one corner in front and the other to the bottom right): L’, U, R, U’, L, U, R’, U’ (You may need to do this again)
2: : Two corners are in the correct spot: (Holding one corner in front and the other to the upper right): R, L’, U, R, U’, L, U, R’, U’, R’
3: Only one corner in the correct spot… Do one of the above algorithms with the corner facing down. Than solve for either case 1 or 2 (Whichever applies)

Step 9: Solving the last layer: Orienting all the Corners

Flip the megaminx over where the last layer is on the bottom.
Corner by corner perform this algorithm till each corner is Oriented correctly: (Holding the unsolved corner on the bottom): [R, U, R’, U’], D’
