The 19th Century Trombone

Описание к видео The 19th Century Trombone

Two popular types of trombones from the 1800's. I l forgot to mention that the tenor has no tuning slide. Those old tenors were "tune from the slide" affairs. You just played them in tune. I mentioned the 19th century Germanic trombone sound because in contrast, most new trombones, especially those made in the US, are made of thick metal, hard alloy, and have a characteristic hard core at the centre of the sound, which is very different from the 19th century Germanic sound.
