Inside the Sudanese capital district retaken by government forces

Sky News has gained frontline access to the Sudanese capital where the army is trying to regain ground long-held by rebel forces.

The tri-city capital has been at the centre of a devastating war that broke out between the army and RSF rebels in April last year.

The RSF has held on to Khartoum City and Khartoum North for 18 months with the Sudanese armed forces making gains across the river in Omdurman.
