In this video we're going to learn how to install VSCode on a Mac. It's pretty simple, but there's a couple neat features like making sure we setup the "code" command to be able to quickly open a folder or file from the terminal by typing "code ." or "code filename".

I also don't like how you can't open a folder from Finder, so we setup a "Quick action" to gain this ability by right clicking a folder.

Once VSCode has been installed you'll be ready to learn some cool power editing features to make using your text editor more enjoyable.
