Nio reaches 50 swap stations in Europe

Nio added two new stations in Norway on July 15, located in Straume and Oslo. Nio users in Europe have completed over 63,000 battery swaps, providing around 3 million kWh of power.

The company plans to expand its network in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands. Recently, Nio accelerated its pace, adding seven stations this month.

This expansion comes as Chinese EV makers face higher tariffs in Europe. The European Commission imposed temporary duties on Chinese EVs starting July 5. Nio faces a weighted average tariff of 20.8 percent, adding to the original 10 percent rate.

Despite these tariffs, Nio maintains its current pricing in Europe but may adjust prices later. Nio's Firefly models are expected to remain competitive even with the extra tariffs.
