Running the Glass City Half Marathon with Flip Camera

Описание к видео Running the Glass City Half Marathon with Flip Camera

View the Glass City Marathon (April 25, 2010) as Lorrie Cesarz runs the half marathon course with a Flip camera. From the foggy University of Toledo campus to the foggy Glass Bowl, follow Lorrie for 13.1 miles. We (Kevin Cesarz and Lorrie Cesarz) had originally signed up for the full marathon, suffered injuries during our 18-week training, and decided to flip our entry to the half, go slow and just see if we could finish.

We completed no long runs after a painful 16-miler in Week 8 and cobbled together a hodge-podge of cycling, 3 mile-runs and Lorries physical therapy for plantar fasciitis. By no means were we prepared and we do not recommend this to anyone. But weve run a half-dozen marathons, paid our non-refundable entry, got our tech shirts, and thought we would just wing it.

Lorries sister, Renee Visser, was running the half marathon, as well, after finishing the Nashville Country Music Marathon in 2008.
