Honored and grateful to share a few words at the 2025 Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
 
Receiving the Darrel J Hess Award and being named the Class of 2025’s Inductee of Distinction is something I’ll never forget. I was deeply honored to be selected as the inductee of distinction in honor of Darrell J Hess—a man who dedicated his life to promoting and preserving sports across Pennsylvania. His legacy of integrity, leadership, and service continues to inspire generations of athletes, coaches, and fans.
To receive an award that carries his name is something I’ll always treasure. It’s a reflection of the people who’ve shaped my path and the sport that’s given me so much. The recognition means a lot—not just to me, but to everyone who’s been part of the journey. From the fighters I’ve trained, my team of world class assistant trainers to the mentors who shaped me, this moment is for all of us.
 
 
Boxing has given me more than I could ever put into words. Thank you to the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame for this incredible honor.
