No, Oral cancer is not every time end in death but is depends on the stage of cancer.

There are 4 stages of oral cancer,
Stage 1 and 2 is called early-stage cancer
Stage 3 and 4 are called late-stage cancer
And then Advanced stage cancer comes which is called stage 4 type c ( Last Stage)

The survival rates for every stage are different obviously.
Stage 1 Survival rate is around 95%
Stage 2 Survival rate is around 80-90%
Stage 3 Survival rate is around 50-60%
Stage 4 Survival rate is around 30-40%

2:20 How many days before cancer surgery should radiation therapy be started?
Radiation therapy should be started 6 weeks prior to the operation. And if the doctor has asked to take chemotherapy along with radiation therapy, then you should follow the doctor's advice۔
