The Emirati Cuisine Competition 2025 brought together young chefs from Dubai to celebrate local food traditions with a fresh, modern perspective. Held at ICCA Dubai, The Hub, the live finals challenged participants to prepare a three-course menu that balanced authenticity with innovation.

Each finalist brought their own story, skills, and creativity to the kitchen, drawing from the rich flavors of the Emirate and reimagining them with refined techniques. The result: thoughtfully and beautifully executed dishes that spoke to both heritage and ambition.

Judged in real time on the Foodverse app, the competition provided a structured and transparent platform for feedback, with an expert panel assessing each course on flavor, presentation, technique, and creativity.

At the end of an exciting day of cooking and storytelling, two standout chefs were awarded:

Ayesha Khoory – First Place
Alya Al Ali – Second Place

This initiative was made possible through the support of the Department of Economy and Tourism, in strategic partnership with Dubai Culture, the Sikka Platform, ICCA Dubai, and Foodverse, all committed to showcasing the next generation of culinary talent and keeping the spirit of Emirati cuisine alive in new and exciting ways.
