The Taylors Lakes Football Club, nicknamed the Lions or colloquially the Lakers, is an Australian rules football club located in Taylors Lakes, Victoria, north west of Melbourne. The club originated in 1989 with the intention to field junior sides, and in 1991 affiliated with the Essendon District Football League.

The Northern Saints were formed in 2007 as a result of a merger between the North Coburg Saints and Fawkner Park Football Clubs. The Northern Saints are a part of the Fawkner / North Coburg Sports Association and are currently participating in the Essendon District Football League’s second division.

The Essendon District Football League (EDFL) is a professional Australian rules football league competition based in Essendon, Victoria, and consisting of teams based in the north-west suburbs of Melbourne. Founded in 1930, the men's competition consists of three leagues: Premier Division, Division 1 and Division 2, with 10 clubs in the Premier Division and Division 1 nine in Division 2. The league is governed by AFL Victoria.
