Wired headphones suck because (at least for me) because I forget I have the wire connected to the camera and I walk away and drag the whole tripod down. Wires also generally get tangled. So I stuck a Rode Wireless Go (http://sdp.io/RWG) onto my a7S III (http://sdp.io/a7s3) with a sticky cold shoe (http://sdp.io/shoe) and now I have wireless headphones for monitoring sound. It works for any camera and any wireless headphones.

Why not just use a Bluetooth adapter? Every one I've tested adds latency which is unacceptable for real-time monitoring.
