Even high-tier enemies like silver bokoblins can be endlessly ragdolled, turning what should be intense fights into mindless damage sponges.

Weapon durability isn’t even the main issue — the real problem is how little thought many encounters demand. Earlier games like Skyward Sword forced players to engage with enemy behavior and positioning in every fight, making combat feel deliberate and rewarding.

If Nintendo wants the next Zelda game to truly evolve, combat depth needs the same attention exploration received.
