Another key factor is the ceiling type, as this will influence the type of speaker to use. For instance, whether you have a drop tile ceiling, a hard sheetrock ceiling, or an open ceiling will determine whether you need in-ceiling speakers or surface mount speakers.

Once the application and ceiling type are determined, we usually ask for a floor plan. This helps us understand the layout, dimensions, and specific areas needing coverage or those that are problematic.
