NBA Live 95 - Allstar Level (Hardest) - Rockets vs. Knicks Finals 1994 - EA Sports - MS-DOS

In this video, the very first iteration of NBA Live is shown on the highest difficulty level in an exhibition game between the finalists of 1994, the Houston Rockets and the New York Knicks. The real series ended 4-3 for Houston, denying Patrick Ewing his biggest chance to win it all and bringing glory to one of the all-time greats in Hakeem Olajuwon. Hakeem the Dream won another championship in 1995 vs Orlando, this time in a sweep. Until today, winning as 6th seed in the regular season hasn't happened anymore before and after their famous championship vs Penny and Shaq - but that might be a part of the story in NBA Live 96. This video shows the version of NBA Live 95 on PC (DOS) by EA Sports and is a first attempt to get this sports simulated in a high quality, which it was back in time.
This game was played on the maximum level, which was Allstar back when it was released in October 1994. It was hard to beat it because of two reasons. Keyboard control (no joystick was recognized) and control in common. Today, the lack of stealing, the indirect feeling controls and the indirect impact of movement makes it difficult to stay for hours, so doing the exhibition was enough, bringing back old feelings about this famous sports series, before NBA2k happened.
