“The city of gardens” has such a vibrant mix of jungle, markets, temples, food and of course music. Exploring the traditional South Indian Carnatic music together with Chikkaballapur musicians playing Nadaswaram, Thavil (percussion), learning about the Yakshagana dancers. Bengaluru has caught our hearts.

A place with such a strong sonic identity, deeply embedded with music. We recorded markets, temples, the never-ending traffic, the city’s dynamism, its cuisine and more; we jammed with musicians from Chik Ballapur.

For the Sigma fp, I used it on the Ronin S as light setup, paired with 35mm 1.4 Art & Tilta Nucleus Nano for focus pulling +. Blackmagic video assist 7' to see better because of the tiny screen of the Sigma fp.

Sigma fp settings : 4K Cinema DNG 12 bits, on Samsung T5 SSD 1TB, then i used the software Slimraw to make it lighter with 7:1 compression on the DNG. Color profile was Off on the fp, and in Davinci I converted the color space to blackmagic film, it matches perfectly with the BMPCCs.
