Night Walk along Suzhou Creek - Shanghai | 夜逛苏州河 - 上海

Tonight we take a walk from Jing'an Joy City Mall along Suzhou Creek. Walking along Suzhou Creek you will find many historic buildings and wonderful views of Suzhou Creek and the Lujiazui skyline. Shanghai Sihang Warehouse Anti-Japanese War Memorial is a memorial to the 420 Chinese officers and men who defended the warehouse (27 October, 1937-1 November, 1937) during the Battle of Shanghai (August 1937-November 1937) of the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945). Several Chinese movies have been made about the battle, the latest being "The Eight Hundred" in 2020. The west wall of the building has been restored to show damage from the battle.
今晚，我们从静安大悦城出发，沿着苏州河（吴淞江）北岸从西往东逛。苏州河北岸有许多历史性建筑和赏心悦目的苏州河风景，还可以眺望陆家嘴独绝的天际线。
上海四行仓库是抗日战争纪念馆，在中国抗日战争（1937年 - 1945年）八一三淞沪抗战后期（1937年8月 - 11月），有420名官兵在这里坚守四昼夜（1937年10月27日 - 11月1日）抗击日军。有不少中国电影讲述了此战役，最新的一部是2020年上映的《八佰》。仓库的西墙经过修复展示了满目疮痍的弹痕原貌。

There are many bridges across Suzhou Creek including Waibaidu Bridge (Garden Bridge) and Zhapu Road Bridge. Waibaidu Bridge is the first all-steel bridge built in China in 1908. Zhapu Road Bridge has become popular with local Chinese due to the view it offers of Waibaidu Bridge, The Shanghai People's Heroes Monument and Lujiazui skyline.
苏州河上有很多座漂亮的桥，包括著名的外白渡桥和乍浦路桥。连接吴淞江和黄浦江的外白渡桥是中国第一座全钢结构铆接桥梁，建于1908年。乍浦路桥近来成为了热门打卡地，因为从这座桥上可以将外白渡桥、上海人民英雄纪念塔和整个陆家嘴天际线尽收眼底一览无余。
