Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Advent Air Single Zone White Low Profile 13,500 BTU RV Air Conditioner. Now, this Low Profile Air Conditioner Unit is going to let you replace, upgrade, or add a new air conditioner to your RV or camper. And this is going to include the air distribution box, and the wall-mounted thermostat. And the low profile design of this air conditioner is going to minimize wind resistance to help improve fuel efficiency, and provide more overhead clearance for you.
Now this 13,500 BTU per hour air conditioner is going to quickly and efficiently cool the inside of your RV or camper. And this is going to be compatible with your ducted or ductless systems. And this is a Bolton installation with the included hardware that you see there. And so this is going to be great for your motor homes, your travel trailers and your fifth wheels. However, I do want you to be aware of the fact that this has not been approved to be used on food trucks, school buses or enclosed utility trailers or off-roading vehicles.
Just so you're aware of that. This is going to fit roofs from two and a half inches to five inches thick with an opening size of 14 and a quarter inches wide by 14 and a quarter inches long. And since we're talking about measurements, let me give you the overall dimensions of the unit itself. So looking at the overall length measuring from the front to the back, we're sitting right about 31 inches long. And then the overall width here at the back at the widest point, we're sitting in at about 24 and 15, 16 inches wide.
Again, 24 and 15, 16 inches wide. And then the overall height here at the tallest point, we're sitting at about 10, and one eighth inches tall. And this weighs a little under 70 pounds. Now, I'm gonna go ahead and remove the lid here. And I went ahead and loosened, and removed the screws that secure the lid in place just to save us a little bit of time.
And I want to give you a view of the inside of the unit so you can see what it looks like a little bit from that angle. But let me go ahead and give you an overhead angle just to give you a better view of the inside. This air conditioner features a fan blade with a three speed motor that's going to give you ample airflow at 500 cubic feet per minute. This also features a condensation dispersion system, which is going to increase cooling efficiency by managing moisture to prevent water runoff. Now this cover, I'm gonna go ahead and replace this cover, is a durable piece of plastic. I have dealt with other RV air conditioners in the past from other manufacturers, and sometimes I have noticed that those covers, those lids can be kind of thin, kind of flimsy. I don't think that's the case here with this cover from Advent Air. Not only does it fit tight and snug, but it's really a durable piece of thick plastic. So I think it's going to do a great job of resisting the elements. I think it's going to do a great job of protecting the internal components from water and debris. So I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. And as you saw, it's very easy to remove and replace. If you want to remove this to do a little bit of maintenance or maybe clean it out, all you gotta do is remove those Phillips head screws, and that's gonna be a very easy thing to do. And then lift this off, do your cleaning, do your maintenance, put it back on, it's going to fit very snugly, and then just replace the screws, and tighten it down. So really good cover that this comes with. Now let me go ahead and give you a close view here of this side of the table to go over the additional components that are included here. This does include our air distribution box, and it has three slotted vents here. So you can see that you can manually open, and close these registers, these vents, this one's a little bit tight. Let me see if I can pop that open. Let me lift this up here just a little bit just to show you. There we go. And so these slots are going to be able to be open and closed just like that. And it also features a louvered vent. And the registers as you see now obviously can be closed to divert more air to the ducts in a ducted system. And if you are wondering about the size of our air distribution box, we're about 21 inches long and 21 inches wide. And then we also have ou
