Philippine Airlines: San Francisco to Manila

Описание к видео Philippine Airlines: San Francisco to Manila

Once embarking from Delta, you will leave San Fransico’s main terminal and take a tram to the International Terminal. There were 2 issues we needed addressed.

1. I fell under the Balikbayan Visa. As a former Filipino, I have confirmed my status with the Philippines Embassy in Washington D.C. and the Philippines Bureau of Immigration’s main office in Intramuros. Unfortunately, no airlines recognized it. You will be expected to have proof of an onward ticket. Be sure to have a confirmation code for the onward ticket AND your PSA birth certificate (or other equivalent documentation). Politely wait as a supervisor approves your status. Copies of your documentation will be made.

2. Before checking in, make sure your carry-on luggage is 7 kg. The personal bag must weigh only 2kg. They WILL weigh them and place a tag indicating the carry-on weight. They may or may not weigh your personal bag. Our personal bags were not weighed. Once at the gate, there’s plenty of seating. However, there were very few seats available since our flight was packed. Carry-on luggage might be weighed again. If your carry-on is still overweight, you must check it (for free). You will retrieve it with the other checked baggage.

Once you’re checked in, you’ll need to go through TSA again. EVERY item needs its own tub. All electronics and liquids bag must be in separate tubs. Be prepared for extra screening.

Our seats were in the economy section. We found our experience comfortable. Throughout our experience, the staff were polite, gracious, and welcoming.
